celebrate one cupcake at a time...

Hello!

Do you remember me telling you that we were celebrating my "much older brother's" birthday? This is the tag that I made for his gift...haha...can you guess how old he turned...or will be turning this week?

Can you believe that I had yet to ink up that fabbie Unity Bingo Card? I was kind of checking out my stuff while thinking of something for my brother and noticed the number 45 on the Bingo Card....perfect-o! I highlighted the number by using a Stampin' Up felt snowflake. This tag is ultra glittery...all the sides have been glitzed up along with the cupcake banner. My brother had enjoyed the Red Velvet Cupcakes that I made for Thanksgiving so I decided to use that particular Stampin' Up sentiment. The snowflake is surrounded by red bling...maybe not the most masculine tag but hey, it had a costco gift card in a little envy attached to the back...honestly, I don't think my brother minded all the glitter:)

A little woot woot....did you see the Cards blog? My "hello" button tree made it on their blog...thanks paige!

I worked on altering a bunch of tins yesterday...ran out of chocolate {not for me...for the tins} so I had to make a Costco run...

Check out this super delish flocked Making Memories Brocade paper...

For those that know me...here's one of my favorite color combos...

blue & red

Who can resist a gorgeous chocolate brown velvet 7gypsies bloom with a pti button and kaiser pearl? I glittered up the A Muse sentiment...

I'm trying to be productive every night after work and doing a production line of projects....tonight is sewing on felt:)

Love your tins! And that tag is awesome! I first thought your brother will turn 41 because my eye was drawn to the top middle of the tag. You are creating all day/night long, aren`t you?

Hugs,

you know I discontinued the Unity kotm after only a few months. They were sending me too many fabbie stamps way quicker than I could ink them up.

The tins look great!

Girl...you are awesome! Love that tag card and those coffee tins are perfect for some goodies. It is funny how we look at things and think of great ideas. I have so many little tins, and containers waiting to be prettied up. You made me just want to get on it.

Whoot whoot, fabby stuff here! Love the cans! Man, I have not been motivated. Being sick this long is most of why I lost motivation. No like!!!

Unrelated... when I was watching the Bizarre Food show the Andrew dude was in Japan. There was this nasty looking dish. Four years or maybe five of fermented fish and rice. It wasn't refrigerated it was just left out to "cook." The poor Japanese dude that was with Andrew couldn't even do it :P Japan has some interesting food -- you food waster :P
