eat cake & more.

Hello and Happy Saturday!

I haven't posted my Chickaniddy Crafts cards over here in awhile so I'm doing a bit of catch up!

The first 2 cards are March projects.

This one was to focus on the chevron trend:

It made things super fun (& easy) to use the Reverse Confetti Triple Chevies Confetti Cuts!  The butterfly is PTI and all the paper is from the Twirly Girly Collection!

Next up is a Color Trend card:

navy ● mint ● coral ● pink

Personally, I think the addition of any type of fruit image makes any card fresh & fun!

My final card focuses on flowers!

Being a card maker, I generally gravitate to the 6x6 paper pads.  That doesn't stop me from loving {hoarding} 12x12 paper!  I fussy cut blooms from Date Night/Awesome Blossom.

To add some texture, I used modeling paste on a portion of the card so it didn't overwhelm the design.  Do you see the semi-circles I punched out on the sides?  It's a great way to anchor twine!

I hope you're having a great weekend!

What lovely cards. I really like the soft colors in the papers you used. The way you used the chevrons in that first card rocks it out of the park. I love your fussy cutting on the third card. Wonderful cards!!
