Happy Birthday

My weekend was jam packed with fun and Design Team Assignments...nice combo.   So here's a card that has some NBUS:

I've been wanting to use the Waffle Flower Magical Floral Border Die.  Julie's card reminded me that I needed to use it.  Isn't it beautiful in the Reverse Confetti Navy Cardstock?  It's been backed with Reverse Confetti Stone Cardstock.  The sentiment is from the Waffle Flower On My Mark stamp set...stamped on Reverse Confetti Brick Cardstock.

My card was inspired by Kate's Pinned and Penned Moodboard!

My card was also inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

My Momma and I spent Saturday together...we went to a meeting for a trip to Japan we'll be taking with my oldest brother and his wife.  I'm so excited!  It's in 2018 and I hope to do some research on the areas that we'll be touring...research = where are the craft stores.

I love this pic of us...my Momma doesn't.  I can't help that my arms are too short for pics :)

Reverse Confetti: scoops of thanks

YAY for Friday!  Here's a quick card that I whipped up this morning.  I luckily have a sweet spot in the living room that I can take early morning photos (6 am!).

I used the Reverse Confetti Love & Ice Cream stamp set + coordinating confetti cuts.  Cup, Cone or Waffle Cone?  I'm a cup girl, just in order to save a couple calories...I'd rather have it in a big 'ole waffle cone.

I used Stone cardstock with the Circles 'n Scallops confetti cuts.  The ice cream is Salsa and the cup is Mist cardstock.

I'm partial to ice cream than to sorbet.  As I slowly gravitate away from dairy products, I'm thankful that there are tasty vegan ice cream options:  Full Tilt  •  Molly Moon

I was inspired by Curtain Call:

Hero Arts: Cheers!

Hello and Happy Thursday!  These days I'm smitten with all things nautical..throw in coffee and it's a perfect match.

I'm such a lucky girl to have a friend like Kimberly...she gave me THIS card.  That got us chatting when I was teaching the Hero Arts class at Impress.  I had a couple of ideas and actually made one come to life...

Love the Hero Arts Tentacles stamp...the possibilities are endless and you know that I had to team it up with a coffee theme because why?  Why not?!  I used the coffee cup from French Treats and the French Coffee Press from Coffee and Croissant.

The sentiment is from the Holiday Greetings set.  It's been heat embossed in white on black cardstock.

This is definitely a non-traditional Graduation card, isn't it?  I wanted to make one for a super nice guy that recently graduated from college...exciting times for he and his lovely wife who I've known since she was in Kindergarten.
